Requisition Number 12-1203 Post Date 12/18/2012 Title WM Contract Cycle Specialist City Jacksonville State FL Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Contract Cycle Specialist is responsible for administering contracts, rebates and customer eligibility for a portfolio of suppliers. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: . A High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of one year of work experience are required. Bachelor's degree desired - preferably in Accounting or Finance. . Professional work experience in a Distribution or Services industry firm is preferred. PREFERRED OFFICE/MACHINE EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE: Excellent personal computer skills. Proficient with word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel), data bases (MS Access), printers, copiers, fax machine, calculator, internet/intranet, and electronic mail. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities include: . Administer contracts: . Analyze contract notifications and accurately interpret \ manufacturer request. . Evaluate contract changes and communicate customer impact to sales force. . Manage contract relationships with assigned manufacturers and ensure mutually respected line of communication. . Monitor contract expirations and pursue contract continuity by working with suppliers, reps, and company leadership. . Administer rebates: . Analyze vendor responses and allocate credit to appropriate submissions. . Interpret manufacturer denial codes and research validity of all claims not credited. . Identify denied chargeback settlement opportunities and assist in negotiating mutually beneficial agreements. . Manage chargeback relationships with assigned manufacturers and ensure a mutually respected line of communication. . Administer customer eligibility: . Systematically process supplier customer eligibility lists in SAP- Vistex system. . Maintain supplier to PSS customer cross-reference information. . Prepare internal communications regarding customer eligibility changes. . Proactively audit supplier customer eligibility lists. . Serve as liaison between manufacturer contract departments and our sales reps / sales leaders. . Proactively work with key internal and external intersections to resolve contract cycle related issues with a high level of customer satisfaction . Support continuous process improvement by utilizing Lean concepts. . Must maintain a good attendance record. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: . Complete special contract cycle projects as assigned. . Other such duties as may be assigned.
