Field Clinical Specialist, Cleveland - Cardiac Surgery Systems
Title: Field Clinical Specialist, Cleveland - Cardiac Surgery Systems Location: USA-California - Irvine Job Number:_002010 This position will provide technical and clinical support to hospitals and clinical staff. The Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) will be the technical support person for Cardiac Surgery Systems products and be responsible for covering base product segments. The FCS shall professionally represent Edwards Lifesciences and provide education, follow-up services, in service training, and other related services as necessary to nurses, physicians, and any function responsible for supporting Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. The FCS will report to the Region Director.
Responsibilities will include:
* Travel to and provide support throughout the United States approximately 85% of the time * Implement account conversions for Cardiac Surgery Systems Products * Provide in service training to physicians, nursing and technical hospital staff as required * Demonstrate strong administrative skills, organizational skills and follow up * Maintain a competent and current level of knowledge of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery * Maintain a comprehensive product and technical knowledge of all EW Cardiac Surgery Systems products * Maintain a comprehensive product and technical knowledge of competitive products, including features and benefits * The FCS should maintain a strong relationship with the Region Director and sales representatives for seamless sales support * FCS will be responsible for providing a weekly update to Region Director * Arrange all travel through E-Travel in advance when applicable * Complete expense reports on a weekly basis * Complete mileage reports on a monthly basis
Required Skills, Experience and Education: * Bachelors degree preferred * Medical license preferred for Clinical Applicants, RN, BSN, Anesthesia Technologist * 5 years in a Clinical Setting or 3 years in a Medical Sales Support Position * Microsoft Office including sharing of Outlook calendar
