Analyst, Sales Strategy & Ops - Cardiac Surgery Systems
Title: Analyst, Sales Strategy & Ops - Cardiac Surgery Systems Location: USA-Utah - Draper Job Number:_001929 Responsibilities will include: * Assess sales achievement and case outcomes by integrating and blending quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources to perform complex analyses. Interpret analyses, draw conclusions, and prepare and present findings on trends (e.g. sales growth, market trends) to sales management and internal stakeholder team. * Interview and survey sales staff to investigate and identify best practices and business trends to provide guidance on strategic decisions * Generate standardized reports on sales information to track attainment of growth objectives, e.g., sales results, historical growth, market growth trends, budget variance, sales exceptions and product use. * Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales results and case outcomes in all reporting systems. Ensure data integrity on sales dashboards and provide user support to the field for these electronic sales tools. * Identify opportunities for innovations in electronic and traditional sales tools, present recommendations, and develop specifications for approved tools, as well as training users. * Provide strategic and tactical input into the development of customer agreements/contracts: * Assist with the maintenance and communication of contract and pricing policies and guidelines, including list & floor pricing updates * Interact with internal and external customers to address customer contractual concerns, negotiations, pricing requests and billing discrepancies. * Create analysis to track contract landscape, account penetration, market share and opportunities to increase customer par levels * Provide supporting analysis and develop recommendations on the impact of contract and pricing decisions * Maintain a knowledge base of contracts and pricing documentation & analysis. * Work with central contracts/national accounts team on Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) strategy & modeling, Distributor accounts, RFP/Bid Requests, customer IDN aggregation requests
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
* BS degree required, finance or scientific field preferred * Minimum 2 years in an analytical/business consulting role * Strong analytical ability * High degree of accuracy * Strong presentation skills * Good time management and organizational ability * Must be strong with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Work proficiently/adapt to proprietary systems * Team player * Propensity for leadership * Written and verbal communication skills
