Within GE Healthcare Global Services, the Global Asset Management (GAM) organization develops and delivers disruptive innovation to improve hospital operations. Hospital Operations Management (HOM) optimizes the utilization of all assets and staff in a health network to improve the patient experience and their safety while maximizing efficiency and reducing waste while making data relevant for healthcare providers. The organization strives to measure and improve process compliance, productivity, utilization, and throughput. GAM is comprised of several technologies and technology enablers such as Real Time Location Systems (RTLS). Data is managed for key stakeholders in a dynamic format to measure performance and provide continuous improvement opportunities. Within the Global Asset Management business in Global Services, as a Hospital Operation Management Commercial Engineer, you are GE's technical sales consultant to our clients, and a technical sales leader for GE sales teams and/or Business Partners. You will learn the client''s technical requirements and/or competitive landscape and apply your knowledge and experience that will bring our clients RTLS-enabled Hospital Operations Management solutions. Essential Responsibilities . Collaborating with GE sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions. . Deliver product demonstrations, technical education, customer quotations, and Proof of Concepts. . Attend tradeshows and conventions. . Support the designing of solutions, as well as answer technical and delivery questions throughout the sales process in order to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships. . Partners with sales and delivery peers to drive new sales and expand existing business. . Maintains understanding of current customer values from using the solution, the client's and product industry, including industry trends, and industry business processes Qualifications/Requirements *Bachelor's degree with a minimum 4 years of customer interaction experience is required *2 years of direct customer interaction experience *2 years of enterprise application experience *Demonstrated technical competence *Ability to travel minimum of 50%, and up to 100% domestic and possible international *Demonstrated customer service skills *Leadership ability across multi-discipline job roles in a healthcare environment; Managers through CxO levels *Experience navigating and managing leadership across multi-disciplinary businesses *Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities with a rapid grasp of new concepts *Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills *Solid consulting, influencing and facilitation skills *Effective in a demanding, fast-paced, customer-focused environment *Competency in utilizing sophisticated software applications *Professional presence with well-developed interpersonal and listening skills *Demonstrated organizational, planning and multi-tasking" skills *Motivated, results-oriented attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethic Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
