Do you have a high level of Cardiac and Cath Lab experience? Is unit based education your passion? The Clinical Nurse Educator maintains competence at the expert level in clinical practice and is responsible for unit based education program planning, development, and implementation. This includes, but is not limited to: validating required educational needs and competencies for unit staff; developing unit training programs and processes; oversight of unit preceptorship program, maintaining staff education records and keeping manager informed of currency of staff regarding mandatory education requirements. Able to teach courses that are required for unit competency (ie, ACLS, PALS, etc). Flexibility in scheduling is required for meeting the educational needs of staff on all shifts.

Requirements:

Essential Requirements
A minimum of 3 years experience in the acute care clinical setting with Cath Lab expertise. Bachelor degree in nursing preferred. Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Alaska. Must possess excellent communication and organization skills. Demonstrate the ability to accept and implement change.
