Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Hospital Patient Account Rep (billing/follow-up) to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ.
Job Responsibilities:
The Hospital Billing/Follow-up Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and/or follow-up of assigned accounts. This individual assists patients who may require explanation for their bills or assistance in dealing with their insurance companies. This position will work with health insurances resolving issues for denied claims, resulting in payment of claims to the hospital.
Required Skills:
Typing skills
Basic computer/CRT skills including keyboarding
Minimum 1 year office/clerical experience, including professional telephone skills
Desired Skills:
Experience in a hospital setting
Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
Minimum Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
